Information stored on your device

Your portfolio holdings and watchlist are saved in your browser's local storage. They are not sent to or stored on our servers, and we cannot see them. Clearing your browser data deletes them. We also cache market data temporarily in your browser to make pages load faster.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed and which tools are used. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information like your approximate location, device, browser and pages visited. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising

We use third-party advertising companies, including Google AdSense, to serve ads. These companies may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits. You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google's Ads Settings or at aboutads.info.

Affiliate links

When you click an affiliate link, the partner may set cookies to attribute the referral to StockEngine. We record anonymous click events in our analytics to measure which placements are useful.

Stock lookups and AI analysis

When you search for a ticker or request an AI analysis, the ticker and the related public market data are sent to our data and AI service providers to generate results. We do not send personal information with these requests.
